Psychiatry
The Mental Health Dept. studies and treats human mental conditions. It works to cure severe mental disorders such as psychopathy, but more commonly treats nervous disorders brought on by mental and environmental factors. A significant reason why psychiatric treatment is sought is to try and achieve a happy life. The body and mental state influence one another closely, so that when the physical body is hurt, the mental state will be in pain, and vice versa. The Psychiatry Dept. is the only field discipline that works or takes care of human thoughts, emotions, and actions all together. It therefore focuses not only on the resolution of symptoms, but handles the practical difficulties, family issues, and environmental problems of patients as well.
